On the morning of May 9, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Bao Loc City (Lam Dong) coordinated with the People's Committee of Loc Son Ward to inspect and handle the Ford Da Lat Automobile dealership Branch Bao Loc.
This move took place after Lao Dong Newspaper published an article "Automotive dealers occupy the sidewalk to display products".
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that recently, Da Lat Ford Auto Agency, Bao Loc Branch has occupied the entire sidewalk to display products, at Dai Binh slope on National Highway 20 in Loc Son ward (Bao Loc city). This not only poses a potential risk to traffic safety but also makes people angry.
Accordingly, the authorities conducted an inspection and made a record of the incident. The authorities also requested Da Lat Ford Agency, Bao Loc Branch to comply with legal regulations to ensure airy sidewalks and road safety corridors.
The representative of the Ford Da Lat Agency, Bao Loc Branch, also signed a commitment not to encroach on the sidewalk as a place to display products.
Mr. Tran Van Hieu - Chairman of Loc Son Ward People's Committee said that after the inspection, the Ward People's Committee requested Ford Agency Bao Loc Branch to return the sidewalk that they had encroached on to display automobile products.
The Ward People's Committee will send people to monitor and supervise regularly and if they continue to repeat the offense, causing traffic insecurity, we will handle or propose strict handling according to regulations.
And Mr. Nguyen Hong Van - General Director of Dalat Agent Ford Ford, said: In recent years, businesses have repaired the fire prevention and fighting system, so they must allocate the area to the construction unit. During parking, there is an encroached on the sidewalk. After receiving feedbacks from the press and the authorities, the business urgently reorganized the car display area.
