On June 24, in Ea Tul commune, Dak Lak province, VNM Beta Energy Co., Ltd. held the launching ceremony of the Buon Ho 1, Buon Ho 2 and Cu M'gar 2 wind power plant projects with a total investment of more than 2,000 billion VND.
The project cluster has a total capacity of 50 MW, including: Buon Ho 1 wind power plant with a capacity of 20 MW with 4 turbines; Buon Ho 2 wind power plant with a capacity of 20 MW with 4 turbines, while building an operating management house and a 22/110 kV substation; Cu M'gar 2 wind power plant with a capacity of 10 MW with 2 turbines.
The project uses about 10.9 hectares of land in the communes and wards of Cu Bao, Buon Ho, Ea Tul and Pong Drang.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and departments, branches, and localities in the process of preparing and completing procedures to implement the project.
According to Mr. Thai, when completed and put into operation, the project cluster is expected to supply more than 170 million kWh of clean electricity per year to the national power system, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, creating more jobs, increasing budget revenue and promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the launch of wind power projects this time not only marks a new step in the field of renewable energy but also concretizes the development orientation of the province according to the Dak Lak Provincial Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050.
At the same time, the project continues to affirm the local determination in promoting investment attraction, developing clean energy, towards the goal of green growth and sustainable development.
