Overcoming difficulties
In recent years, Dak Lak province has made efforts to implement many solutions to overcome difficulties, innovate vocational training and gradually closely link training with the actual needs of the labor market.
Mr. Vo Thanh Huong - staff of the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of M'Drak - said that the locality has a high proportion of ethnic minorities, many difficulties in life, and uneven labor levels.

"To open a class to teach animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and build for the people, we have to go to each village, village to mobilize and persuade. There are cases where it takes them up to three times to participate. The main students are ethnic minorities, poor and near-poor households" - Mr. Vo Thanh Huong added.
According to Mr. Huong, the current labor structure focuses on agriculture, while the demand for human resources for industry and services is increasing, posing challenges in innovating teaching content and methods.

Mr. Ha Ngoc Huong - Director of the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Buon Don - commented that many people in ethnic minority areas are still hesitant and do not clearly understand the purpose and significance of vocational training classes.
On the other hand, many people are used to enjoying policies for poor and near-poor households, so they are still passive and rely on them. In addition, the long-distance roads make it difficult to open a class at the facility.
Vocational training associated with job creation
From the resources of the National Target Program for the period 2021-2025, Dak Lak province has implemented many synchronous solutions to improve the quality of vocational training, develop skills and expand job opportunities for the poor, near-poor and low-income workers.
It is estimated that in the past 5 years, the locality has created jobs for more than 100,000 workers. In fact, many short-term vocational training models for rural workers have been implemented, helping people quickly apply knowledge to production, change careers or increase income from current jobs.

Ms. Vu Thi My Phuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Vocational Education - Continuing Education (Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province) - said that in the coming time, the province will focus on increasing vocational training according to business needs, reducing the situation of unemployment training.
The authorities also promote digital transformation in labor market management, improving job connection efficiency.

At the same time, the province will strengthen communication, especially in ethnic minority areas, so that workers are more proactive in accessing job opportunities.
"The locality has also collected recruitment needs from hundreds of businesses and businesses to proactively introduce suitable jobs, while building a database "Searching for People - Job seekers" to serve long-term labor connections," Ms. Phuong added.
