Lam Dong - A series of hydroelectric reservoirs upstream of the Dong Nai River released floodwaters, combined with heavy rain, rising water caused widespread flooding downstream.

On the morning of November 21, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Thong - Commander of the Provincial 3 Defense Command - Bao Lam (Lam Dong) - said that nearly 150 officers and soldiers in coordination with other forces had worked all night to support the evacuation of assets and people in areas at high risk of flooding.

At 9:00 p.m. on November 20, Trung Nam, Dong Nai 3, 4 and 5 hydropower plants simultaneously released large tanks to regulate the water flow, causing the water to rise rapidly. In Cat Tien and Cat Tien 2 communes, there are 8 flooded spots from 0.5-1.5m, separating 3 villages.

The forces have prepared 1 canoe, 2 motor boats, 7 hand-held rowing boats, 50 life buoys and many essential vehicles, along with 60 militia comrades ready to respond to all situations.
