Dak Lak handles 289 cases of speeding on National Highway 1 in one week

Dak Lak - In a week of patrolling and controlling on National Highway 1, functional forces discovered and handled 289 cases of speeding violations.

On July 6, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the unit had just summarized the results of implementing the plan to patrol, control, and handle violations to ensure traffic order and safety on National Highway 1.

Accordingly, from June 29 to July 5, the Traffic Police force strengthened patrols, inspections, and used professional technical equipment to detect and strictly handle speed violations. Through inspection, functional forces have made records and handled 289 violations, with a total fine of 453.1 million VND.

According to the Traffic Police Department, speeding is one of the direct causes leading to many serious traffic accidents, causing great damage to people and property.

Therefore, in the coming time, the unit will continue to strengthen patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations according to the provisions of law to improve the compliance awareness of traffic participants, contributing to curbing and reducing traffic accidents in the area.

Functional forces also recommend that people when participating in traffic should seriously comply with speed regulations, comply with the road traffic sign system and do not drive vehicles exceeding the allowed speed.
