In recent times, the Dak Mil District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center has achieved positive results in vocational training for rural workers. Thereby, contributing to increasing productivity and improving the quality of life for local people.
In 2024, vocational training activities at the Center will be organized systematically. Thanks to that, it will gradually contribute to raising awareness among officials and people about the importance of vocational training for socio-economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuyen - Director of the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Dak Mil district - shared: "The Center is the main vocational training unit of the district. The unit plays an advisory role for the District People's Committee to coordinate with agencies, departments, and organizations to implement propaganda programs and disseminate vocational training policies.
In addition to training at the headquarters, the unit also organizes mobile vocational training classes in communes and towns to help students reduce travel and accommodation costs...".
According to Mr. Tuyen, through vocational training counseling and job referrals, the center has provided people with knowledge about training professions and the labor market.
Thereby, helping students easily choose a suitable career, while linking training with creating sustainable jobs for learners.
According to research, in 2024, Dak Mil District Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center will deploy 12 vocational training classes with an enrollment target of 420 students.
This includes 280 primary training students and 140 students in short-term vocational training programs of less than three months.
As of September 19, 2024, the unit has opened 11/12 classes with a total of 91% of the plan completed. Of which, 2 classes have closed and issued certificates to students according to regulations.
Strengthen inspection and supervision
The characteristics of Dak Mil district are suitable for agricultural development. Agricultural and non-agricultural vocational classes of Dak Mil District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center are highly applicable and suitable for local labor needs.
For example, classes in cultivation and plant protection techniques, veterinary techniques, civil electricity and industrial sewing. These classes not only improve the vocational skills of rural workers but also open up opportunities for increased income and job creation immediately after completing the course.

The leader of the Dak Mil District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center emphasized: "To ensure teaching quality, the unit has developed a plan to inspect and supervise training work with a regular inspection schedule of 5 sessions/course and surprise inspections.
These tests focus on evaluating teachers' teaching methods and students' learning levels. Through this, the Center promptly detects and resolves difficulties and problems of teachers and students, ensuring that training quality is maintained and improved."
In the last months of the year, the center will continue to promote enrollment and open a class on cultivation and plant protection techniques with 35 students.
