Recently, there were violations in the contractor selection process at the construction package of the Dak Plao - Dak R'Mang - Dak Som inter-commune road project.
The project is invested by the Dak Glong District Project Management and Land Fund Development Board. For this project, the Provincial People's Committee also received a transfer application from the Provincial Police.
Faced with this situation, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province has just issued an official dispatch on rectifying the selection of contractors for projects in the province.
Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to inspect, review, and carefully study legal regulations on contractor selection.
The Department of Planning and Investment advised the issuance of a directive by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct investors/inviting parties, localities and related units to rectify and overcome; not to allow violations to occur during the process of organizing contractor selection and other negative cases.
In the coming time, ensure that the organization of contractor selection for bidding packages of projects, works, and procurement estimates using State budget capital in Dak Nong province takes place openly, transparently, and strictly complies with legal regulations.
The Department of Planning and Investment also advises on how to handle the responsibilities of leaders and related individuals and groups if there are violations or errors in the process of organizing the selection of contractors.
