According to initial information, at around 2:50 p.m. on August 5, at km68 + 420T on National Highway 279 (in Dien Bien Phu ward), a truck with license plate 27A-14451 driven by Mr. Trieu Van T. (residing in Thanh Nua commune) was moving from Tuan Giao commune to Dien Bien Phu ward.
When reaching the curved road, the driver could not control the brake failure speed, causing the vehicle to overturn towards the positive slope.
At this moment, the car crashed into Ms. Luong Thi T, a resident who was selling labels on the roadside. The accident injured both driver T and Ms. T, who are currently being treated at the hospital.
After receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department, Dien Bien Provincial Police arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and clarify the cause of the accident.
