At around 4:44 p.m. this afternoon (October 29), a fire broke out at a furniture store at 913 De La Thanh (Dong Da District, Hanoi - near the gate of Hanoi Maternity Hospital).
After being discovered, although people shouted and used fire extinguishers to put out the fire, because the fire was wooden, it could not be extinguished.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Ba Dinh and Dong Da districts quickly coordinated with local forces and people to handle the fire spread and extinguish the fire.
When the task force arrived, a fire broke out on the first floor of a furniture store. After determining that no one was trapped in the fire, the force mobilized vehicles to completely extinguish the fire shortly after.
The fire caused no casualties or property damage. Authorities are currently investigating the cause.
