The project to renovate and upgrade the connecting road from Ring Road 4 of Vinh Phuc province (Xuan Lang commune) to the Central dike (Nguyet Duc commune) - approved and adjusted by Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee according to Decision No. 988/QD-UBND dated March 31, 2026.
This is a project belonging to Group B, with a total investment of 157 billion VND invested by the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board recently issued a bidding invitation for the construction package of the project.
The construction package was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 116 billion VND from provincial budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and the period 2026 - 2030.
According to the technical requirements in the bidding documents, the road being renovated and upgraded has a length of 2km, starting point at the intersection with Ring Road 4 (Xuan Lang commune), ending point intersecting with Yen Phuong - Nguyet Duc road (Nguyet Duc commune).
The road has a roadbed width from 33 to 36m, a road surface width of 21m divided into 2 separate running directions (each direction 10.5m), a median strip width of 3m, a fixed sidewalk on the left 6m wide, and a sidewalk on the right 3 to 6m wide. Design speed 60km/h.
The main investment items of the construction package include: Foundation, road surface, rainwater drainage system, sidewalks, green trees, lighting, traffic safety, synchronous technical infrastructure investment.
The implementation time of the bidding package is 20 months.
The investment project aims to gradually complete the provincial road system and traffic roads in Binh Xuyen and old Yen Lac districts according to the approved plan.
Along with that, promoting trade in goods and the urbanization process in the area, attracting investment in urban planning areas along the route, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the province.
In the contractor selection plan, in addition to the construction package, the project also has consulting and non-consulting packages such as:
Construction and installation supervision; Construction insurance; Traffic safety inspection (period before handover and putting the project into use); Auditing; Inspection of acceptance and putting the project into use; Appraisal of bidding documents, contractor selection results for packages 1, 2.
In which, except for the construction supervision package that is widely bid through the network, the form of contractor selection for the remaining packages is short-term appointment.
