On June 17, the Dak Nong Department of Home Affairs developed 2 plans to support cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to move to work at the Lam Dong Provincial Administrative - Political Center.
Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs has developed 2 support options including: Option 1 is monthly support, paid in the same period as salary, for a period of 2 years.
The support packages include 2 trips back and forth in 1 week, with a support level of 200,000 VND/trip. The total monthly cost is 1,600,000 VND/person.
Support under the accommodation allowance regime, at the rate of 60,000 VND/person/day. The total support for 22 days is 1,320,000 VND/person/month.
The cost of renting accommodation with the lowest support level is 3,000,000 VND/person/month.
Thus, in total, the support cost for 1 person is 5,920,000 VND/month.
With this plan, the Department of Home Affairs plans to support 1,238 people in 24 months with a total budget of more than 175.895 billion VND.
Option 2 is monthly support for travel expenses, accommodation rental expenses and one-time support for living expenses.
Of which, travel costs and accommodation costs are 4,600,000 VND/person/month.
One-time support for living expenses is 30,000,000 VND/person.
This support proposal has been consulted by a number of localities.
The total estimated cost for this option is more than 173.815 billion VND.
After proposing 2 options, the Dak Nong Department of Home Affairs gave a view on choosing option 2.
Because this option not only helps stabilize the lives of staff, but also contributes to improving the efficiency of work at the new administrative unit.
On June 12, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025.
Accordingly, the new Lam Dong province was formed based on the arrangement of the entire natural area and population of Dak Nong, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces.
After the merger, Lam Dong province has a natural area of 24,233.07km2 and a population of more than 3.8 million people.
