On the evening of October 28, the Traffic Police Department (Traffic Police, Hanoi City Police) informed that the unit had just issued a violation notice to the driver of a tractor-trailer entering Nga Tu So during rush hour.
At around 6pm on October 28, a tractor trailer with license plate 63C-088XX, pulling a refrigerated container, suddenly entered the city centre during rush hour. When turning around under the Nga Tu So overpass, the driver was afraid of colliding with the underpass and did not dare to move.
The working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 immediately instructed the driver to turn around to avoid collision with the overpass structure. At the same time, they checked and handled the driver according to regulations.
Working with the traffic police, driver V.H.T (born in 1990, residing in Tay Ninh city, Tay Ninh province) stated that he was driving on Vinh Tuy bridge, wanting to find the way to Phap Van expressway, but due to getting lost, he followed Google Maps onto the elevated Ring Road 2 and down to the Nga Tu So intersection, leading to the violation.
Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 has drawn up an administrative violation report for driver T, with the error: Driving the vehicle not within the prescribed time, temporarily confiscating the FC class driver's license for handling according to regulations.
