On January 23, Dak Nong Provincial Police launched the program "accompanying traffic participants".
When passing through Cai Chanh Toll Station (through Dak Ru commune, Dak R'lap district, Dak Nong), road users were guided and stopped by the Traffic Police force and youth union members of Dak Nong Provincial Police.

Here, people receive free mineral water, cold towels, bread, milk, sweet potatoes, boiled corn...
In particular, the police force also exchanged old helmets for new standard helmets for free for the people. Many people were surprised and touched by the practical actions of Dak Nong Police.
Ms. Ha Thi Thuy Duong (Dak Mil district, Dak Nong) said that she is working in Ho Chi Minh City. This year, she and her children returned to their hometown to celebrate Tet by motorbike. She departed at 4 am. When she arrived at her hometown, the police officers invited her in and gave her cold towels, drinks, and snacks, which was very heartwarming.
The traffic police also confiscated substandard helmets and gave her new ones for free, along with a reminder to pay attention to traffic, which moved her even more.

Dinh Cong Tan (from Dak Lak) shared that riding a motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City was quite tiring. When he arrived in Dak Nong province, the police gave him drinking water, cold towels, and food. In addition, at the support point, there were also medical staff to support those who were sick or tired.
“It is more touching to be able to exchange substandard helmets for new ones that meet standards. This makes everyone feel better to continue their journey home,” said Mr. Tan.
Dak Nong police also set up a tent for people to stop and rest.
Local medical staff also promptly examined and supported cases of illness and fatigue while traveling on the road.
Mr. Huynh Ngoc Thach, a medical officer of Dak R'lap district, said that he took turns being on duty 24/7 with the Dak Nong Provincial Police to help people return home for Tet.
Medical staff support sick and tired people when traveling long distances to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and returning to work after Tet.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Quoc Lap, Head of the Traffic Police Department of Dak Nong Provincial Police, shared that this is the 6th consecutive year that the Provincial Police have implemented the program "accompanying traffic participants".
This year, the program will take place at Cai Chanh Toll Station, Dak Ru Commune, Dak R'lap District, from January 23-28, 2025 (ie from December 24-29 of the Lunar calendar) and at Dak Gan Commune Toll Station, Dak Mil District from February 1-3, 2025 (ie from January 4-6 of the Lunar calendar).
The police force invited local medical staff to be on duty 24/7 to support, examine, and care for cases of health problems.
Establish mobile support teams operating 24/7 on Ho Chi Minh road, through Dak Nong province, to be ready to assist traffic participants who encounter problems on the road.
Traffic police also publicize a hotline to support people day and night with the hope that everyone will get home safely.
The entire cost of this activity is donated by the police force and supported by agencies, units and philanthropists.
