Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision approving the investment policy for the central traffic road project of Muong Lan - Pa Khom commune (under Muong Lan commune).
The project has a total length of about 10km, the scale of a level VI traffic route - mountainous areas, including 2 routes (main route and branch route).
Specifically, the main route is about 7.1km long, starting at the intersection with Provincial Road 146 (in the center of Muong Lan commune) and ending at Nam Lich - Pa Khom road.
The branch route is about 2.9km long, starting at km1+200 (main route) and ending at the intersection with Provincial Road 146 at km14+600 ( na Hua village, Muong Lan commune). Both roads have a roadbed width of 6.5m and a road surface of 3.5m.
The project belongs to group B with a total investment of 160 billion VND, using balanced capital from the local budget for the period 2021-2025 (to carry out investment preparation work) and central budget capital for the period 2026-2030.
Investment preparation work will be conducted in 2025. The project implementation period is expected to not exceed 4 years, from the date of capital allocation.
The goal of the project is to gradually complete the traffic system connecting Muong Ang commune with Muong Lan commune, creating a synchronous interconnected traffic network with routes from Ten village - Pa Khom - Muong Lan commune center and the provincial road from Bung Lao commune center to Xa Dung commune.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Area 1 to be the agency organizing the preparation of the feasibility study report on investment and construction of the project; responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies and units to organize the implementation of the next work of the project to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
