Plays an important role
In the process of developing Dliê Ya commune after arranging administrative units, the team of prestigious people, village and hamlet heads play an important role.
The area is large, the lives of a part of the people are still difficult, while ethnic minorities account for a significant proportion, so the role of people close to the people and close to the people is further promoted.
Each prestigious person, village head, hamlet head is both a propagandist, a mobilizing person, and directly accompanying and supporting people in life.
Ms. Le Thi Huong's family (born 1977) has 3 children, the main source of income currently relies on about 6 sao of durian. This is the result of many years of hard work, gradually improving livelihoods and stabilizing life.

In 2025, Ms. Huong's family officially escaped poverty. Besides the efforts of the members, she believes that the encouragement and guidance of reputable people in the locality is a great source of encouragement.
When the family is in difficulty, we are visited, encouraged, and guided on how to do business by reputable people. There are guidelines and policies that are not clearly understood, we go to the village head and reputable people to ask. They explain in detail, so people can understand and implement them easily," Ms. Huong shared.
According to Ms. Huong, closeness is the factor that helps people trust the team of village and hamlet heads and reputable people. They live with the community, understand the circumstances of each family, so when propagating and mobilizing, it is often easy to create consensus.
“I and the people in the village all place our full trust in the village head, the prestigious person. They are the support for the family in difficult times or when we are still vague about policies and guidelines,” Ms. Huong said.

Not only helping people understand and implement policies correctly, reputable people also directly contribute to solving difficulties in life.
For poor, near-poor households or those lacking production materials, timely encouragement and support sometimes become a motivation for them to continue to rise up.
In Buon Yun, Mr. Y Bu Mlo's family is such a case. He and his wife have 5 daughters.
After the land was divided to the children, the couple did not have much means of production left. Meanwhile, his wife was often sick, making family life even more difficult.
In that situation, Mr. Y Thanh Niê, a reputable person in the village, became an important support for Mr. Y Bứ's family.
Knowing the family's situation, Mr. Y Thanh regularly visits, encourages, and supports cultivation and agriculture.
These practical actions not only help Mr. Y Bu's family have more motivation to rise up but also show the role of reputable people in caring for community life.
For Mr. Y Bu Mlo, the help of reputable people is not simply material support or guidance on how to do business, but more importantly, the sharing of someone in the community, always ready to accompany when the family encounters difficulties.

Building a successor team
It can be said that the role of reputable people, village heads, and hamlets in Dliê Ya commune is increasingly affirmed.
They are people who understand customs and habits, understand the circumstances of each household and have a voice in the community. They are always trusted and listened to by people when there are new policies or issues that need to be propagated and mobilized.
Closeness to the people, understanding the people and for the people has helped the team of prestigious people, village heads, and hamlets become special "bridges" between the government and the people.
Identifying reputable people as an important force connecting Party committees and authorities with the people, the Dliê Ya Commune People's Committee focuses on using resources from national target programs to foster and build a successor team.
Through this, the locality has gradually formed a core force with capacity, responsibility and trust from the community.

Mr. Le Phong Phu, Head of the Culture - Society Department of Dliê Ya Commune People's Committee, said that besides caring for and encouraging the current prestigious team of people, the locality determines that discovering and fostering successor forces is a long-term task.
Resources from national target programs are integrated to organize propaganda, training, knowledge dissemination, and improve mass mobilization skills for grassroots officials and positive factors in villages and hamlets.
Through this, young people who are enthusiastic, responsible, and trusted by the community have more opportunities to learn from the experience of village elders, village chiefs, hamlets, and prestigious people, gradually becoming a successor force in mass mobilization work at the grassroots level.
