Floods from the night of October 6 to 8 caused heavy damage in Thai Nguyen. There were 7 deaths, damage of 4,000 billion VND. The water level of the Cau River surpassed the historical flood peak in 2024, causing many areas in the central Thai Nguyen and neighboring areas to be submerged in water.
Thousands of people's vehicles were damaged after many days of flooding. After the water recedes, vehicle repair facilities are always overloaded. Amidst the chaos of storms and floods, free parking lots have appeared, making people feel more warm.

On October 13-14, a car repair team of the Thanh Hoa Motorcycle Technical Association organized free repairs for people in Thai Nguyen. More than 120 skilled workers are present at 3 locations: Thai Nguyen University of Economics, Thai Nguyen University of Education, Viet Bac folk music and dance theater.
While meticulously replacing the car oil, Mr. Pham Ngoc Hue (head of the group) said that the group had been up since last night. Traveling more than 250km to Thai Nguyen for the sole purpose of sharing difficulties with people in flooded areas.

"On the internet, you can see flood information in Thai Nguyen and get frustrated, how many properties and vehicles are submerged in water. Here, we have been working as car reporters for many years, at this time we can do whatever we can to support the people.
Joining hands for a little while to help everyone stabilize their lives soon. The group of more than 120 people divided into 3 groups, each person was in charge of a task," said Mr. Hue.
According to Mr. Hue, this car repair group has been around for 6 years. Every time there are natural disasters or floods, brothers shout to each other to set out. In 2024, the group also went to Lao Cai and Yen Bai to support people in flooded areas.
When they arrived in Thai Nguyen, repair shops in their hometowns were temporarily closed. The workers are self-sufficient in all travel expenses, contributing additional available spare parts and components to help the people.

According to Mr. Dinh Van Hau (owner of a car repair facility in Nga Son, Thanh Hoa), the group hopes to repair about 2 to 3 thousand motorbikes to help Thai Nguyen people.
"The location at the University of Economics alone has repaired more than 300 vehicles to help people and students from morning to now. The damage is mainly due to prolonged flooding and inability to operate.
In the immediate future, the group will repair the engine, change the oil, and filter the air. As for long-term insurance, people should take it for maintenance," said Mr. Hau.
According to Mr. Hau, each person in the group contributed a small amount. Oil workers, component parts workers, and many people who cannot travel have contributed a few million to buy more equipment. Everyone hopes that Thai Nguyen will soon recover from the flood and stabilize her life.
As the afternoon went on, the image of people bringing vehicles to repair points increased. In the university area, many students also support arranging vehicles to make work go smooth. Amidst the flood, humanity is ignited.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam (Phan Dinh Phung, Thai Nguyen) said that the recent flood caused the water to rise too quickly, unable to react. The family's 2 motorbikes were soaked in water for several days. When the water recedes, the vehicle repair facilities are also overloaded.
"It's a good thing that there are free car repair groups to support people. The workers are all skilled, repairing very quickly and enthusiastically. The storm and flood have passed, activities like this are meaningful, people will soon stabilize their lives," said Mr. Nam.
