The Ministry of Home Affairs also proposed that on the occasion of the National Day holiday in 2026, civil servants and public employees will have a holiday on September 2, 2026 and 1 day before that on September 1, 2026; switching from working day on Monday (August 31, 2026) to weekly Saturday (August 22, 2026).
