Businesses expand charging and battery exchange infrastructure to help electric vehicle users become more convenient

ĐỨC VÂN |

The participation of many large enterprises in developing charging station infrastructure and battery exchange cabinets is contributing to creating an increasingly widespread green transportation network in Vietnam. Not only increasing convenience for users, this cooperation trend also opens up new impetus to promote the transition to electric vehicles.

Recently, V-Green Global Charging Station Development Company and Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) signed a cooperation agreement to deploy more than 16,000 batterie replacement cabinets for electric motorbikes and about 2,000 parking spaces integrated with electric car charging pillars nationwide.

According to the agreement, this infrastructure system will be deployed at more than 13,000 Vietnam Post service points, spanning from urban to rural areas.

This is considered one of the biggest steps ever in expanding the infrastructure network serving electric vehicles in Vietnam.

Previously, many large enterprises and corporations also cooperated with V-Green to develop charging station systems and promote green transformation in transportation.

The increasing number of participating units is assessed to help the electric vehicle charging infrastructure develop faster, cover more widely and be more convenient for users.

In Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and many major provinces and cities, images of electric car charging stations and electric motorbike battery exchange points are increasingly common in shopping centers, parking lots, residential areas, gas stations, convenience stores or national highways.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (Tay Mo ward, Hanoi) - said that he used to worry about finding a charging station when traveling far away. However, now, infrastructure has changed very quickly.

Meanwhile, Ms. Pham Thi Lan - an office worker in Bac Ninh - said that the appearance of more battery exchange cabinets makes electric motorbike users feel more secure when moving daily.

According to records, along with the growth rate of the electric vehicle market, green vehicle infrastructure in Vietnam is also developing rapidly in recent years.

Experts believe that one of the important factors driving people to switch to electric vehicles is the ability to access convenient charging infrastructure.

When the charging and battery exchange network is widespread, concerns about travel distance or charging waiting time will gradually be eliminated.
