Determination to bring Cam Hung commune to comprehensive development
Mr. Le Ngoc Ha - Chairman of Cam Hung Commune People's Committee shared that Cam Hung commune was formed on the basis of merging Cam Hung commune (old), Cam Ha and Cam Thinh. The commune has a total area of 103.8km2 and a current population of nearly 22,000 people.
In 2025, Cam Hung commune had 31/32 targets achieved and exceeded the plan; budget revenue reached 87 billion VND, equal to 130% of the plan; average income per capita reached over 54 million VND/year; the poverty rate decreased to 2%. The fields of culture - society, administrative reform, and health insurance all have clear changes.
In the first quarter of 2026, budget revenue reached 20.6 billion VND (reaching 36% of the set plan), environmental sanitation was improved; education continued to record positive results. Spiritual and cultural life is increasingly rich with festivals, sports and cultural activities, contributing to strengthening community cohesion.
Social security work is effectively implemented with the joint efforts of the community, mobilizing nearly 4 billion VND to support people to overcome difficulties, build houses, and upgrade infrastructure. The spirit of solidarity and affection has become a sustainable social support in the development process.
In general, the lives of people in Cam Hung commune are increasingly improved. Many households have built spacious and beautiful high-rise houses. Many economic development models in animal husbandry and cultivation bring high incomes" - Mr. Le Ngoc Ha acknowledged.
Chairman of Cam Hung Commune People's Committee further informed that Cam Hung commune has a North-South expressway passing through, a rest stop of the expressway, a 29MWp solar power project on a scale of 30ha, and a high-speed North-South railway project to be deployed soon...

He also pointed out that Cam Hung still faces many difficulties such as wide area, unsynchronized infrastructure, limited resources, and agricultural production affected by natural disasters and epidemics.
