On May 23, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee Ho Van Ha presided over working with relevant units on the relocation of electricity infrastructure for construction of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project and criticized the Director of Long Thanh District Project Management Board, reminding two units, the provincial Land Fund Development Center, the Management Board of the Provincial Transport Construction Project.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Van Ha also assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to monitor and report the whole progress of the relocation of the electricity infrastructure of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project. The investor units rebuilt the newly implemented line to send to the Department of Industry and Trade to evaluate the provincial People's Committee for the provincial People's Committee to approve the report plan and commit to the implementation progress to the Ministry of Construction.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, for the project route passing through Bien Hoa City, there are 10 locations of the lower voltage medium power grid that needs to be relocated, dismantled and renovated underground to serve the construction of the project. Up to now, the construction unit has completed 9 positions. With the remaining position at the location of the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap street, it was also registered for the power cutting schedule on May 29 to carry out the relocation.
With high voltage grids, there are 2 positions of the 220kV power grid to be relocated, raising the pillar that has been gathered by the contractor but has not yet been constructed because it has not been handed over the ground. With the route through Bien Hoa City, the relocation of electricity infrastructure has completed about 90% of the volume under the contract and is expected to be completed in the end of May 5.2025.
For the project section through Long Thanh district, the medium and low voltage power grid and transformer station have 32 locations that need to be relocated, dismantled, and undergrounded. To date, 21 locations have been completed, the remaining 11 locations are expected to be completed before June 10. With the high-voltage grid, there are 13 locations that need to be relocated, 20 electric poles need to be raised. Currently, Long Thanh district has mobilized people to hand over the site, is implementing the construction of 7 pillar locations and is expected to complete the entire workload in June 2025.
