On August 3, Phuoc Thai Commune People's Committee, Dong Nai City announced the search for relatives of abandoned children.
Accordingly, on July 17, 2026, Phuoc Thai Commune People's Committee received information reporting from Ms. M.T. H about the fact that on February 26, 2025, she discovered and brought to take care of a child abandoned in front of the gate of N.T retreat, now in hamlet 6, Phuoc Thai commune, Dong Nai city.
After receiving the information, Phuoc Thai Commune People's Committee established a verification team, coordinated with relevant agencies and units and Hamlet 6 Board to conduct actual verification at the place where the child is being cared for. Through verification, up to now, the father, mother or relative of the child has not been identified.
The child is about 17 months old, male gender, in good health condition, accompanied by a blue scarf and a plastic basket.
Currently, the child is being handed over to Ms. M.T. H, residing in hamlet 6, Phuoc Thai commune, Dong Nai city, for temporary care and nurturing according to the provisions of law while waiting for identification of the child's father, mother or relative.
Phuoc Thai Commune People's Committee informs parents and relatives of the child to know and contact Phuoc Thai Commune People's Committee to receive the child back according to the provisions of law.
