The project to renovate the North bank of Doi canal is about 4.3 km long, passing through Chanh Hung and Phu Dinh wards (formerly District 8), invested by the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board (Urban Infrastructure Board).

The project also expands Nguyen Duy extended road from alley 157 Hung Phu to Chu Y bridge (16 m wide), builds Hiep An 2 bridge, along with drainage, lighting, green trees and an inland waterway wharf to serve guests.
