On August 25, according to the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center, the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project (phase 1) has handed over more than 95% of the land area to date.
In addition, tasks such as: issuing land recovery notices, inventorying, and confirming origin have been completed; the approval of compensation and support plans reached 99.5% of dossiers; issuing land recovery decisions reached over 74%.
The Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project is the beginning of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong expressway, with a total length of more than 63km, passing through 8 communes and wards in Dong Nai city.
To implement the project, Dong Nai city must deploy land acquisition of more than 390ha.
Previously, on August 19, 2025, the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project (phase 1) under the PPP method was started construction.
The project belongs to the group of key national transport infrastructure projects with a total investment of about 8,496 billion VND.
The project has its starting point at Dau Giay intersection (Dau Giay ward, Dong Nai city) and its ending point in Phu Lam commune, Dong Nai city.
The project is designed according to expressway standards, with a design speed of 100 km/h, a scale of 4 lanes, a complete roadbed width of 24.75 m and synchronous auxiliary items such as non-stop toll collection system, operating center, lighting system, intelligent traffic monitoring (ITS).
In phase 1, the project is invested with a roadbed width of 17 m, especially at weak soil treatment locations, excavated roadbeds, high embankments, traffic intersection scope, emergency vehicle stop section and bridge works on the route will be invested according to the complete phase scale with a roadbed width of 24.75 m.
The expected construction time is 24 months, completed on August 19, 2027.
