In the coming days, Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities will have heavy rain with high tides.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, the weather forecast for the next 24-48 hours is that the continental cold high pressure will continue to weaken in the next 24 hours, then strengthen weakly again in southern China. The tropical convergence zone with an axis through the South Central - South connects with storm No. 13 in the central East Sea area moving in the West Northwest direction to the mainland of the South Central, Central Highlands and gradually weakens.

Weather forecast for the next 3-10 days, the continental cold high pressure will strengthen and shift to the East and the North of our country, then add from November 11-12.

From around November 10-11, super typhoon Fung-wong is likely to enter the Northeast of the East Sea. Above, the western branch of the subtropical high pressure will gradually lower its axis to the South.

Therefore, the Southern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.

On the afternoon of November 6, at a press conference at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, Mr. Tran Nhan Nghia - Deputy Head of the Department of Fisheries and Fisheries Control (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment) said that although according to the national weather forecast, storm No. 13 is not heading towards Ho Chi Minh City, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the coming days. Due to the time of high tides, Mr. Nghia noted that people in the suburbs, suburban areas and along the Saigon River need to pay special attention.

In this situation, people in Ho Chi Minh City should regularly monitor weather reports and update traffic situations through the media before going out; at the same time, limit travel to heavily flooded areas to avoid the risk of accidents or vehicle damage.
