On the evening of November 21, Mr. Ngo Quoc Phong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu cut Commune (Lam Dong Province) said that local authorities had used drones to successfully rescue a man trapped on the Serepok River snail.
According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu cut, in the past few days, there has been continuous heavy rain in the commune, the water level of the Serepok river has continuously risen.

On November 20, the local government sent forces to patrol and inspect the entire Serepok River section passing through the commune to propagate and request people to return home, not fish, and garden near the riverbank to avoid danger.
However, on the morning of November 21, the authorities discovered Mr. Nguyen Van Hat (49 years old, temporarily residing in Ea Tling village 7-a-side) appearing on an oasis in the middle of the Serepok river.
Mr. Phong said: "When Mr. Hat was discovered on an oasis in the middle of the Serepok river, the authorities asked the police force to regularly contact him. By the afternoon of the same day, the river water was flowing more rapidly and the authorities suspected that the river water level would rise, so they deployed the use of drones to bring Mr. Hat to shore safely.
It is known that the authorities of Cu cut commune used drones to tie a life buoy to fly to the oasis so that Mr. Hat could hold on and bring it to shore safely.
