Hung Loi Bridge in Can Tho City connecting Ninh Kieu District and Cai Rang District has been put into operation since 2010, creating favorable conditions for traffic in the area. However, the approach roads on both sides of the bridge, about 400m long, located on the banks of Ninh Kieu district, are always unfinished, not concreted or paved, causing many difficulties and frustrations for people for a long time.
After many years of waiting, the residential road project on both sides of Hung Loi bridge has had positive changes. According to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the road surface has been paved with asphalt concrete, creating clear convenience for traffic participants. However, observations show that the lighting system item is still in the process of completion.
The completion of the concrete asphalt layer on the road has relieved the worry about the dusty and muddy conditions that have caused difficulties for people for a long time. Now, moving by means of transport has become more smooth and safer.
Ms. Tran Kim Sau (Ninh Kieu District) said that in the past, this route was a nightmare for many people because of its deterioration, dusty in the dry season and muddy in the rainy season. Difficulty in moving not only affects daily life but also negatively affects the business activities of households along the road.
According to Ms. Sau, now, with the road surface being invested in and built spaciously, people's travel has become easier and more convenient than ever.
"We have been waiting for this day for a long time. The completed road is beautiful and clean, traveling is no longer as miserable as before. It is safer for the children to go to school," Ms. Sau happily said.
Regularly going to work through the above location, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Trung said that since the road was renovated, people's lives have become much easier to travel. Not only that, people doing business around the area are also more convenient, customers coming to the restaurant are also more comfortable.
According to information from the People's Committee of Ninh Kieu District (Can Tho City), the project started on February 10, with the District's Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas as the investor, Phuc Hau Construction Joint Stock Company as the construction unit.
With a high sense of responsibility and close coordination between units, Ninh Kieu District has strived to complete the project before April 30, in time to serve the travel needs of the people during the country's major holidays.
Not only improving traffic conditions, the new appearance of the people's route also contributes to improving the quality of life and beauty of the region. Although the sidewalk is still in the process of finishing, the significant change in the road surface has brought a new wind, creating more motivation for the development of the region.
