110kV high-voltage power line discharges electricity, injuring 2 people in Quang Ngai

    Quang Ngai - Two people were seriously injured while exploiting acacia when an electric shock incident occurred from a 110 kV high-voltage power line in humid rainy weather.

    On the afternoon of March 15, leaders of Quang Ngai Provincial Police informed that at about 12:30 pm on the same day, Mr. P.V. N (42 years old) and Mr. P.V. V (40 years old), in Lang Giay - Doc Moc village, Ba To commune, along with some other people were exploiting acacia in the Roc Tong mountain area in the locality when an electric shock incident occurred from a nearby 110 kV high-voltage power line. At the time of the incident, the weather was rainy and humid.

    As a result, Mr. N and Mr. V were seriously injured and taken to Ba To Medical Center for emergency treatment.

    Immediately after receiving the news, Ba To Commune Police came to the scene to inspect and assist in taking the victims to the emergency room, requesting people to leave the dangerous area; and at the same time notified the power line management unit to inspect and fix the incident. Currently, the case is being further verified by Ba To Commune Police.
