HUE - Reopening the railway line through Hue City after historic floods.

On the morning of October 31, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Hong Hai - Director of Binh Tri Thien Railway Joint Stock Company said that after a period of urgent repair and overcoming damage and technical errors caused by floods, by 5:00 a.m. the same day, the company had reopened the route and returned the roads through flooded sections in Hue City, ensuring safety for trains to run.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of the strengthening cold air combined with high-altitude easterly wind disturbances, the area from Nghe An to Quang Ngai continues to have the possibility of moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms.

It is forecasted that from the night of October 31 to the end of the night of November 1, the total rainfall will be 100 - 250mm, with some places over 350mm. Localities need to be on guard against the risk of localized flooding, flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.
