On June 18, Can Tho City People's Committee organized an online conference on the Campaign "60 days and nights guiding people to activate and integrate information and data on VNeID level 2" contributing to promoting the development of digital citizens in the area.
According to the report, as of June 15, the whole city had collected 268,190/460,176 dossiers, reaching a rate of 58.28%, an increase of 229,315 dossiers (an increase of 49.81%) compared to the initial deployment time; many communes and wards have made strong breakthroughs, achieving and exceeding the set progress, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the Campaign implementation.
Besides the achieved results, there are still difficulties such as: the whole city has 55 ID card issuance points, people's movement to ID card issuance locations face many obstacles, especially elderly people, workers working in shifts, irregular hours, leading to limited access to services.
The collection of dossiers and activation for children from 6 years old to under 14 years old, according to regulations, this group of subjects must have a legal representative or guardian accompanying them to carry out relevant procedures.
However, in reality, there are many cases where parents go to work far away, often are away from home; children live with grandparents or relatives but do not have enough conditions to carry out replacement procedures, leading to difficulties in arranging implementation time, affecting the overall progress...
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee requested departments and sectors to focus on standardizing, updating and enriching specialized data, strengthening connection and data sharing with the national population database.
In addition, promote the integration of utilities to serve people and businesses on the VneID platform; continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, drastic action, build specific roadmaps for each locality, regularly inspect and evaluate progress and be responsible for implementation results.
In particular, units need to promote the construction and completion of specialized databases, ensuring the principle of "correct, sufficient, clean, living, unified, shared", creating a synchronous data platform from the grassroots to the central level, effectively serving management, administration, administrative reform and socio-economic development.
As a result of the implementation of the set plan targets, the whole city has issued 2,733.871 level 2 electronic identification accounts, reaching a rate of 83.51% of the total number of eligible people aged 14 and over.
For citizens from 6 years old to under 14 years old, electronic identification accounts at level 2 have been collected 268,190 cases, activated 268,190 eligible cases, reaching a rate of 58.28 %.
The target of integrating social security accounts, has integrated 505,253 cases, reaching a rate of 18.48%. Deploying Electronic Health Records on VNeID, has guided the activation and synchronization of electronic health management information for 1,006,442 cases with level 2 electronic identification accounts, reaching a rate of 34.92%.
