Gia Lai receives 175 non-specialized officials to become commune-level civil servants

Gia Lai - After the examination, 175 non-specialized commune-level personnel were admitted to work as civil servants in communes and wards from July 1, 2026.

As of July 4, Gia Lai province has completed the settlement of regimes and policies for more than 4,100 non-specialized workers (HĐKCT) at commune level who are subject to resignation after May 31, 2026.

In the process of implementation, the province received more than 350 dossiers requesting consideration for recruitment into commune-level civil servants.

On June 28, the Provincial Council for Inspection and Testing for Admission to Civil Servants in 2026 organized a test for commune-level HĐKCT to select them to become civil servants in communes and wards.

The subjects considered are people with commune-level political status registered before July 1, 2025, who are currently temporarily arranged to support the operation of the commune-level political system.

The recipient must meet the standards of qualities and competence; be assessed as completing tasks well or better in the last 3 years; have a university degree or higher suitable for the job position.

At the same time, they must meet the conditions according to the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants; have enough 5 years of work at the university level, participate in compulsory social insurance and take on work with expertise and nghiệp vụ suitable to the expected job position.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, leaders of Gia Lai Provincial Department of Home Affairs said that after the examination, the province has received 175 people with commune-level HĐKCT to become civil servants in communes and wards from July 1, 2026. Among them, the Party bloc received 115 people, and the government bloc 60 people.

According to the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Home Affairs, the province's point of view is that localities that still have needs and staffing targets will prioritize arranging contracted job positions for commune-level HĐKCT with sufficient capacity and qualifications to meet job requirements. In case it is not possible to arrange, this force will be considered for arrangement to work in villages and neighborhoods after completing the arrangement of administrative units at the grassroots level.
