On October 16, the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee directed the review and handling of the slow reception and settlement of online submission on the National Public Service Portal in September 2025.
According to the Government Office, in September, Gia Lai province had 915 late-receiving records and 628 records that were overdue. In the face of the above situation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Public Administration Service Center to coordinate with units and localities to inspect, evaluate and clarify the reasons for the delay in handling.
The Provincial Public Administration Service Center is responsible for advising and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee measures to rectify units and localities regularly to prevent this situation from occurring. The review, synthesis and reporting must be completed before October 20.
Previously, the Provincial People's Committee Office also received a report from the Provincial Land Registration Office about the delay in coordinating the settlement of administrative procedures in 5 wards including Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Tay, Quy Nhon Nam and Quy Nhon Bac.
According to the reflection, many cases of responses to comments are not on time, or the response content is not complete and not in accordance with regulations, leading to prolonged processing time, directly affecting the rights of the people and the reputation of administrative agencies. Notably, some localities were reminded for the third time but have not responded, causing delays, making people angry.
Faced with this situation, the Provincial People's Committee Office requested relevant localities to promptly rectify and enhance the sense of responsibility of civil servants, public employees and workers; strictly maintain discipline and administrative discipline.
Localities need to have specific solutions to strictly control the coordination process of handling records, avoid backlogs, prolong processing time, affecting the rights of people and the reputation of state agencies.
For documents submitted for comments but with slow response, causing delays, the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee must send a letter of apology to relevant individuals and organizations according to regulations.
