Initial information, at about 8 pm on June 2, heavy rain occurred in Phu Rieng and Thuan Loi communes. At the Den stream culvert area, drainage was not timely, and rising water swept away 3 people.
Immediately after receiving the news from the people, functional forces of Phu Rieng commune coordinated with Thuan Loi commune and people to deploy rescue work. Units promptly rescued 3 women swept away by water.
Continuing the search, functional forces recovered 1 motorbike of a resident, and 1 motorbike was swept away.

By the morning of June 3, functional forces of Phu Rieng commune continued to deploy searches. Functional forces conducted searches along the Den stream area. Currently, vehicles swept away by water have been discovered and salvaged ashore.
Currently, functional forces of Phu Rieng commune are contacting people whose vehicles were swept away to proceed with handover.
