On the afternoon of November 4, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 1 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police) said that the unit had just coordinated with Hieu Giang Commune Police to successfully rescue 3 people trapped by floods while mining cajuput forests.
Earlier, at noon of the same day, the rescue team received a report of 3 people being trapped in the spillway area of Hieu Giang commune while exploiting cajuput forest. The three people include Mr. M.V.P. (born in 1992), Mr. L.V.D. (born in 1986) and Mr. V.V.V. (born in 1983), all residing in Nghe An.

As soon as the information was received, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 1 quickly coordinated with Hieu Giang Commune Police to deploy forces and means to rescue. At around 12:48, the authorities approached and brought all 3 people to shore safely.
Recently, in Hieu Giang commune, there have been consecutive incidents of people being stuck in the floodwaters while fishing, fishing or collecting firewood. The authorities of Quang Tri province recommend that people closely monitor flood information, absolutely do not pass through deeply flooded areas and overflowing culverts when the weather is complicated to ensure the safety of life and property.
