Within the framework of the event, the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized the "Green Booth - Energy Saving" program in 2026, opening a series of 25 green booths being implemented nationwide.
The first Green booth at ENTECH HANOI 2026 is a space to display, connect and share typical solutions, technologies, and models on energy saving and efficiency in industry, construction and life. This is also a place to introduce products with the highest energy efficiency certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in 2026, 25 Green - Energy Saving booths will be organized simultaneously in 3 regions, mainly in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. This activity belongs to the National Program on economical and efficient energy use for the period 2019-2030, contributing to realizing the goals of green transformation, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable economic development.
A noteworthy point of the Green Booth is its approach to people and businesses. Not only stopping at product display, each booth is designed as an interactive space, where visitors can learn about energy-saving technology, high-performance equipment, efficient energy use models and solutions suitable for living and production.
At destinations, the program has many consulting activities, interactive games, gifts and direct guidance. Through this, the message of energy saving is no longer a general slogan, but is concretized into practical choices: Using energy-saving equipment, changing consumption habits, optimizing machinery operation, improving production technology and gradually shifting to greener models.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of ENTECH HANOI 2026, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu - Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee - informed that, implementing Resolution No. 70-NQ/TW dated August 20, 2025 of the Politburo on ensuring national energy security to 2030, vision to 2045, Hanoi City Party Committee and City People's Committee have issued implementation plans to concretize goals, tasks, and solutions suitable to the actual conditions of the Capital.
In 2026, the city strives to save energy from 1.6% to 1.8% compared to forecast demand; save at least 3% of total electricity consumption and at least 10% of electricity in hot peak months. At the same time, continue to encourage the development of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power; promote the application of advanced technology in energy management and use" - Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu said.
These goals show that energy saving is being placed in the overall green development strategy of the Capital. In the context of continued energy demand, especially during peak heat waves, the dissemination of energy saving technology, promotion of high-performance equipment and changing consumer behavior are of great significance for the entire power system, businesses and each household.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade's inclusion of the Green Booth in ENTECH HANOI 2026 is therefore of practical significance. This is a bridge between policy and market, between energy-saving equipment manufacturing enterprises and consumers, distribution partners and localities. Through this, the program creates more motivation for businesses to innovate technology, improve designs, improve quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese products.
