This phenomenon combined with high-altitude wind convergence, directly affecting the Thanh Hoa area.
From the evening of June 8th to the morning of June 10th, a strange northeast monsoon appearing in the middle of summer will bring moderate rain, heavy rain, in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by a high risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
In the midland and mountainous areas, including localities such as Muong Lat, Quan Son, Hoi Xuan, Thiet Ong, Cam Thuy, Kim Tan, Vinh Loc, Linh Son, Ngoc Lac, Thuong Xuan, Lam Son, Nhu Xuan, Nhu Thanh, Trieu Son, the wind turns northeast at level 2–3, the lowest common temperature is from 22–24°C.
In Thanh Hoa sea area, northeast winds are strong at level 4–5, in some places level 6, sea waves are 1–2 m high, causing light rough seas. In the delta and coastal areas such as Yen Dinh, Ha Trung, Bim Son, Nga Son, Hau Loc, Hoang Hoa, Thieu Hoa, Nong Cong, Nghi Son, Quang Chinh, Hac Thanh, Dong Son, Sam Son, the lowest temperature fluctuates from 25–27°C, in some places up to 27.5°C.
Last night and early morning of June 8, the Thanh Hoa area was generally rainless, but it is forecast that from the evening of June 8, there will be widespread thunderstorms. Localized heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, residential areas, urban areas and industrial parks, causing traffic disruption, affecting people's travel, study as well as production and business activities.
