HCMC - On December 4, the Traffic Police Department announced a plan to adjust traffic organization in the Tan Thuan 1 bridge area (Tan Thuan ward), applicable from December 6, 2025.

Accordingly, the authorities banned trucks with a carrying capacity of over 1.5 tons, banned passenger cars with more than 16 seats and banned vehicles with a total weight of over 6 tons from traveling through Tan Thuan 1 bridge.

At the same time, the height of vehicles traveling through Tan Thuan Bridge was reduced from 3.5 m to 2.5 m.

Route 1 is replaced as follows:

Huynh Tan Phat Street - Nguyen Van Linh Street - Tan Thuan 2 Bridge - to Nguyen Tat Thanh.

The Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the Ben Thanh Traffic Police Team will increase the deployment of forces to regulate, direct traffic, and guide vehicles.

At the same time, strengthen patrol forces to strictly handle violations of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and non-compliance with the commands of the road traffic signaling system in areas causing disorder and traffic safety.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that people should proactively learn about the travel route and choose the appropriate direction. During the travel, people must comply with traffic rules, comply with speed regulations as well as follow the regulation and instructions of the authorities.
