Ring Road I section Bo Dau (Phu Luong) - Hoa Thuong (Dong Hy) and Hoa Thuong urban bypass, Quan Trieu ward are nearly 8.8km long, with a total investment of over 1,152 billion VND. This is one of the key projects to develop urban infrastructure of Thai Nguyen province.
The project was started at the end of 2024, the route runs through Vo Tranh, Dong Hy communes and Quan Trieu ward. To date, some locations have not been able to hand over land due to problems in site clearance, affecting the construction progress.
In Quan Trieu ward, the project affects 167 households and 3 organizations. By mid-June 2026, the locality has approved compensation, support and payment plans for more than 133 households and 2 organizations, with a total recovered land area of over 8ha.
Currently, Quan Trieu Ward People's Committee is focusing on resolving cases that still have problems related to legal documents, land use origin or land type determination.

Cadres, party members, socio-political organizations and residential groups directly meet, dialogue, and propagate to help people understand the meaning and importance of the project, thereby creating consensus in the implementation process.
For households that have completed compensation, local authorities coordinate with the construction unit to support the dismantling of works, relocation of assets and architectural structures on the recovered land area to speed up the progress of site handover.
In Vo Tranh commune, the road passing through the area is about 1.8km long. By mid-June 2026, site clearance has been basically completed. Previously, the main obstacles stemmed from the failure to allocate resettlement land funds for households subject to land acquisition.
Vo Tranh Commune People's Committee quickly reviewed, planned and arranged a 7.2ha resettlement area, meeting the relocation needs of households. Thanks to that, the bottleneck of land has been gradually removed.

According to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board (the investor), the biggest obstacle of the project currently lies not in the construction organization stage but mainly in site clearance and construction of resettlement areas.
Early removal of site bottlenecks will help accelerate the construction progress as well as disburse capital for the project. For route sections that have cleared ground, contractors are required to increase manpower and machinery to compensate for the delayed volume due to lack of ground," said the investor representative.
The Ring Road I project was started on December 31, 2024, and is expected to be completed on December 31, 2025. However, due to prolonged problems, the project was forced to adjust the progress and postpone the completion time to December 31, 2026.
To ensure progress, the Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee has requested localities to focus on completing site clearance work before June 30.
