On September 21, according to Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), package 5.10 - Long Thanh airport passenger terminal is large in scale, with a complex scope of work, including the construction, completion and synchronous installation of many technical systems and equipment serving the operation of the terminal.
To date, the realized value has reached about 77.37%. Construction and completion have reached about 82.93%; electricity system has reached about 94% and station equipment has reached about 70.39%.
Also according to ACV, in the current period, the workload is highly concentrated in architectural, electromechanical, fire prevention and fighting, ICT completion and technology equipment installation.
The systems are closely related to each other, so site handover, construction organization and system integration need to be coordinated by region.
ACV has requested the VIETUR consortium to supplement human resources, strengthen coordination between items, organize construction by area and apply progress management tools, BIM.
At the same time, ACV is focusing on prioritizing completing the West wing area and the central area of the passenger terminal, ensuring the necessary conditions for operation and exploitation. The completion and repair of defects in some remaining areas are organized according to the plan in accordance with operating requirements.
Component project 3 - Essential works of Long Thanh International Airport (phase 1) invested by ACV, has 16 main construction packages, of which 4 packages have been completed and 12 packages are being implemented. The accumulated value of 16 main construction packages as of September 5 reached about 79.46% of the contract value.
