On July 7, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 3940/UBND-TTDLCNS on checking information reflecting the fact that many subjects and organizations arbitrarily leveled the ground to build graves in Dai Mo ward cemetery.
According to the reflection, in the Dai Mo ward people's cemetery area, many subjects have appeared showing signs of organizing land leveling, digging, and building a series of fake tombs to sell to families in need.
Faced with this situation, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh assigned the Dai Mo Ward People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to inspect and clarify the information reported by the above press agencies; strictly handle violations (if any) according to the law; report to the City People's Committee before July 10, 2025.
