As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on December 27, at Km35 of the road connecting National Highway 32 with Provincial Road 174, passing through Mu Thap village, Phinh Ho commune (Lao Cai province), a particularly serious traffic accident occurred, killing 9 people and injuring 9 others; vehicles were heavily damaged.
The vehicle involved in the accident has license plate 29B-614.06, owned by Duc Linh Anh Trading and Tourism Co., Ltd. (address No. 4, alley 12/14 Luong Khanh Thien street, Hanoi), and was granted the badge "Contract Vehicle" by the Hanoi Department of Construction.
To clarify the causes and responsibilities of the enterprise, the Hanoi Department of Construction assigned the Department of Transport Inspection to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Transport Management and local authorities to comprehensively inspect and verify the compliance with the law on business and conditions for passenger transport business for this enterprise. The inspection results must be reported to the Department before January 8, 2026.
The Transport Management Department is required to send officials to participate in the inspection team, and at the same time provide complete dossiers and relevant state management data. Based on the inspection results, this unit is responsible for summarizing and advising the leaders of the Department of Construction to report to the Hanoi People's Committee before January 12, 2026.
