On the afternoon of October 18, at the 26th Session (special session), the People's Council of Hai Duong province elected 2 additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Le Anh Dung - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Department of Planning and Investment; Mr. Duong Van Xuyen - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment were elected as members of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021 - 2026 with a high concentration of votes.
Mr. Le Anh Dung - Provincial Party Committee member, former District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Kim Thanh District People's Council was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province from July 31.
Mr. Duong Van Xuyen, member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Sach district was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hai Duong province from September 17.
At the same time, the People's Council of Hai Duong province also dismissed the position of member of the Provincial People's Committee with Mr. Le Hong Dien - former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment and Mr. Hoang Van Thuc - former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment due to job transfer.
Mr. Le Hong Dien - Provincial Party Committee member, former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment was transferred to work at the Provincial Party Committee Office, holding the position of Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office from July 31. Mr. Hoang Van Thuc - Provincial Party Committee member, former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was transferred to hold the position of Secretary of the Nam Sach District Party Committee from September 17.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council reviewed the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee on adjusting the public investment plan; decided on investment policies and adjusted investment policies for a number of public investment projects. Among them, there were a number of projects to build and renovate schools, medical stations, offices, roads, etc.
The Provincial People's Council also considered issuing a number of new policies, including: regulations on tuition fees and the list of revenues, collection levels, revenue and expenditure management mechanisms for services supporting educational activities at kindergartens, general schools and other public educational institutions implementing general education programs; regulations on the quantity and level of monthly support for medical staff in villages and residential areas; list of land plots subject to bidding for selection of investors using land in the province; amending Resolution No. 12/2024/NQ-HDND dated August 12, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council amending and supplementing the Land Price List for the period 2020 - 2024 in Hai Duong province issued with the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.
