On November 27, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province held a regular meeting in November (the 5th time) to listen to and give opinions on the report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2024 and the socio-economic development plan for 2025. Mr. Le Ngoc Chau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province chaired the meeting.
According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment, the socio-economic situation of Hai Duong province achieved the general set targets with many important results in all fields. Of the 15 main targets, it is expected that 13 targets will reach and exceed the set plan. The total product in the province is estimated to increase by 10.02%, exceeding the target of over 9%.
Total state budget revenue exceeded the annual estimate by 46.7%. Social security, material and spiritual life of the people were constantly improved. National defense, security, social order and safety in the locality were firmly ensured.
In 2025, Hai Duong will develop 15 socio-economic development targets, including 7 economic targets, 6 social targets and 2 environmental targets.
In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau highly appreciated the socio-economic development situation of the province achieved in the past time, the efforts of departments, branches, and localities. Besides the achieved results, there are still some socio-economic development targets that have not been completed due to a number of objective and subjective reasons.
Regarding the socio-economic development plan for 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested that from the first months of 2025, departments, branches and localities seriously grasp and implement the Directives and Resolutions of the Central and the province, strive to exceed the targets set out in the plan. Improve the effectiveness of the leadership's direction and administration, promote administrative procedure reform, and enhance digital transformation.
