On the same morning, An Hai Ward Police received information that at the foot of An Duong 1 bridge, near the gas station in the residential group of Ton Duc Thang Avenue, An Hai Ward, there was an explosion, suspected of being a manhole explosion.
Through initial verification, An Hai Ward Police determined: At about 9:30 am on February 13, in the above area, Mr. D. X. H (born in 1979, residing in An Bien ward, Hai Phong) was selling ornamental plants nearby and some people around heard an explosion from 2 manholes on the sidewalk in front of house number 405 Ton Duc Thang Avenue. After the explosion, 2 manhole covers burst open.
The incident did not cause any casualties or property damage to people. Currently, the cause of the incident is being verified and clarified by functional forces.
