On May 5, two ambulances on duty collided at around 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh - 3/2 Street in Hung Loi Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, one car has license plate 65A - 224.65 (Can Tho), the other car has license plate 64A - 211.03 (Vinh Long).
Many people who witnessed the incident said that both vehicles had priority light signals.

Mr. Khu Van Khoa - a witness to the accident - said that the two vehicles involved were ambulances and one was carrying a patient. And the driver was not injured.
Observation at the scene showed that the Can Tho license plate car was damaged in the right hip, with a large footrest and deflected wheels. Meanwhile, the Vinh Long license plate car suffered serious damage at the front, the airbag inside the car had leaked, showing strong collision forces.




Immediately after the incident, Hung Loi Ward Police and Traffic Police arrived at the scene in time just about 10 minutes later to take professional measures, protect the scene and regulate traffic.
At around 10:30 a.m. the same day, both vehicles in distress were moved to the roadside, helping to stabilize traffic at this important intersection.
The exact cause of the collision is still being investigated by the authorities.
