A representative of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) also said that in the context of erratic weather in the Central region, prolonged heavy rain and the risk of landslides in many places, people organizing their own transportation of goods can cause unsafety and hinder rescue work. Therefore, VNR supports the free transportation of relief goods of organizations and individuals through the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee and the Red Cross Society of provinces and cities.

The receipt of relief goods is organized at qualified points on the national railway network such as Saigon, Song Than, Nha Trang, Dong Hoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Giap Bat, Hanoi, Hai Phong... Relief goods will be transported to Hue Station and Da Nang Station for further distribution.
