HUE - The Hue City Health Department mobilizes 24/7 duty, mobilizing 667 pregnant women to leave flooded areas to safety during floods.

On October 27, according to the Hue City Department of Health, the health sector has implemented many measures to respond to floods, ensure the safety of people and maintain medical examination and treatment activities. The 24/7 emergency response, implementing "4 on-site" has been strictly implemented.

According to the report, by the same day, many regional health stations were flooded, from October 21 to 27, medical examination and treatment facilities received more than 10,000 patients, including 20 emergency cases. In particular, 667 pregnant women over 36 weeks have been mobilized to move from flooded areas to safe places due to heavy rain and rising flood waters.

The health sector also strengthens food safety, clean water supply, water source control, and disease prevention after floods. Inspection teams led by the Department's leaders went to the facility in high-risk areas to direct and prepare to welcome students back after natural disasters.

Currently, the Hue City Health Department continues to maintain the on-duty, environmental monitoring and weather monitoring regime to promptly adjust response plans, contributing to protecting people's health and lives.
