In an announcement on social media on the evening of October 27, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh (name of the character requested for change, owner of a villa in Hoi An ward) - said that he has 2 villas with a total of 25 rooms with a capacity of about 50-100 people to help people avoid floods and have a temporary place to live.
According to Mr. Minh, these 2 villas are located at 30 Nguyen Tuan (Hoi An ward), all of which are in high places, with adequate food, electricity and water, making it convenient to live in during floods. When people come, they should bring their citizen identification card and VNeID so that the management department can declare to the ward.
"Immediately after posting the information on the evening of October 27, I have now received about 20 people registering to temporarily stay via personal phone number. From around 9:30 p.m. today, the villa will start opening its doors to welcome people to avoid flooding" - Mr. Nguyen Van Minh informed Lao Dong.

According to Lao Dong reporters on the afternoon of October 27, many streets in Hoi An were deeply flooded, people and tourists had to travel by boat.
On many famous tourist streets such as Bach Dang, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Loi, Nguyen Phuc Chu, Tran Hung Dao... the water has risen, all shops have had to close and move their belongings up high to reduce damage.
At Hoi An market and An Hoi bridge, the water flowed strongly, the authorities had to be on duty to support people, erect warning signs of danger, and guide tourists to leave the flooded area.
Currently, the People's Committee of Hoi An Ward recommends that people limit travel on deeply flooded roads to prevent drowning accidents.
