About people:
There are currently 18 deaths and missing people, 10 injuries.
Regarding housing:
1,577 houses were damaged and severely damaged.
There are 230,197 flooded houses (including 200,000 houses in Thai Nguyen; 11,061 houses in Bac Ninh; 7,500 houses in Cao Bang; 3,000 houses in Lang Son, 8,186 houses in Hanoi; 332 houses in Tuyen Quang; 118 houses in Son La). As of 6:00 a.m. on October 11, there were about 12,906 flooded houses (a decrease of 53,742 houses), of which Bac Ninh had the most of 6,343 houses, Hanoi had 5,743, Thai Nguyen had 783 houses, Lang Son had 39 houses.
Regarding agriculture:
36,387 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged.
13,054 cattle and 690,229 poultry died and were swept away.
Regarding the dyke:
52 incidents in the provinces and cities of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, and Hanoi (an increase of 3 incidents compared to the report at 5:30 p.m. on October 10); many dykes have had to organize anti-flooding on a large scale (Dikes of Cha, Ha Chau, Thai Nguyen City dykes, left, right Cau, right Thuong, left Thuong - Duong Duc, right Ca Lo have been built to prevent overflow with a total length of about 25km).
Regarding traffic:
Currently, there are 20 locations of national highways that are blocked due to landslides and flooding, the most of which are in Thai Nguyen (8), Bac Ninh 4, Hanoi (4)...
The Hanoi - Dong Dang railway line has stopped running; many rural traffic routes are deeply flooded and cut off, causing traffic congestion.
Regarding electricity:
Floods have caused power outages to 549,915 customers in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Cao Bang, Lang Son provinces; 421,293 customers have been restored; there are currently 128,622 customers continuing to restore (Thai Nguyen 57,929; Bac Ninh 45,594; Lang Son 22,647; Cao Bang 2,452).
The total estimated damage is 7,050 billion VND 1,050 billion VND Lang Son, Cao Bang 2,000 billion VND, Thai Nguyen 4,000 billion VND).
