Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - has just been appointed as Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province (new).
In his new position, Mr. Tran Hong Thai shared his passionate thoughts. He himself deeply appreciates the role of the People's Council in the current context.
The People's Council is no longer simply a local State power body, but must become a real bridge between the Party, the State and the People.
The responsibility of leaders in the People's Council is not measured by title or power, but is expressed through the ability to feel, understand and convey the voice of the people into specific decisions.
In that spirit, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, pledged to work with the delegates to build a Provincial People's Council with 3 outstanding characteristics.
Specifically: Democracy in discussion - where all views are listened to and discussed scientifically; transparency in supervision - with a public and effective inspection and supervision mechanism; Resolution in action - turning all resolutions into practical steps to serve the people.

New Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council Tran Hong Thai added that the new Lam Dong (after merging with Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces) is facing major challenges.
That is, it is necessary to harmonize regional interests, optimize resources and most importantly, create a common identity for a unified and developed Lam Dong.
In the coming period, with the spirit of "decentralization, delegation of power, locality decides, locality takes responsibility", the People's Council of Lam Dong province will have higher autonomy than ever. This requires each delegate to have a strategic vision to clearly understand development trends.
People's Council delegates also need analytical capacity to properly assess the current situation and synthesis skills to turn the aspirations of people and businesses into feasible legal regulations.
We need to build a democratic, transparent and drastic People's Council in action. Despite facing many major challenges, I believe that with the consensus, intelligence and sense of responsibility of each delegate, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council will not only fulfill its tasks but also become a model of a modern elected body, truly "of the people, by the people, for the people", Mr. Tran Hong Thai shared.
