On July 8, information from the Nghe An Provincial People's Council said that it had just issued a notice to convene the 31st Session (regular session), term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026. The session is scheduled to take place on July 9 and 10, 2025 at the Provincial Convention Center.
According to the program, the Provincial People's Council will review many important reports on socio-economics, budget, public investment, corruption prevention, food safety and administrative reform in the first 6 months of the year. In particular, the content of the questioning focuses on two prominent groups of issues.

Firstly, the implementation of mechanisms and policies to improve the investment and business environment, remove difficulties for businesses, and improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI). Second, state management of the production and trading of counterfeit goods, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods and dirty food in the province.
Recently, the problem of smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, and poor quality goods has caused great concern among the people, affecting consumer health, the competitive environment, and budget collection. At this session, delegates plan to question the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and departments on solutions to inspect and thoroughly handle the situation of counterfeit goods production and trading, strictly control the origin of goods and responsibility for managing the area.
